Common questions

Is Eucerin UltraSensitive Soothing Face Cream Moisturiser fragrance-free?

Yes. No fragrance, essential oils or fragrance allergens are listed in its ingredients.

Does Eucerin UltraSensitive Soothing Face Cream Moisturiser contain alcohol?

No drying alcohol (alcohol denat. or ethanol) is listed. It does contain cetearyl alcohol: a fatty alcohol that softens and thickens the formula and isn't drying.

Is Eucerin UltraSensitive Soothing Face Cream Moisturiser safe for fungal acne?

None of the ingredients usually flagged for fungal acne are listed: fatty acids with 11–24 carbons and their esters, polysorbates, plant oils and butters, or ferments. 3 of its ingredients aren't in our glossary yet, so check those yourself. The evidence comes mainly from lab studies of yeast growth, and fungal acne needs a diagnosis from a GP or dermatologist.

Is Eucerin UltraSensitive Soothing Face Cream Moisturiser suitable for sensitive skin?

Its ingredient list avoids the most common irritants: no fragrance, essential oils, drying alcohol or strong exfoliating acids are listed. Reactions are individual, so patch-test anything new.
